TRINA NJOROGE WINNER FACE OF KENYA USA 2015- BRAND AMBASSADOR

FUNDS RAISED - $7,505
FUNDS SATUS: DELIVERED TO ANGELS FORGOTTEN. ELBURGON, KENYA.
My name is Trina Wambui Njoroge. I was born and raised in Bakersfield California; I'm currently a freshman pursuing a degree in Biology. Being a Kenyan American, and having studied in Kenya for one year at Mt. Kenya Academy, I have followed and observed the Kenyan culture closely and that has kept me connected to my roots.
When I heard about the FACE of Kenya USA pageant contest, I saw a perfect opportunity for me to give back to the country my parents and I love dearly.
As our Kenyan anthem says and I quote," May we dwell in unity, peace and liberty plenty be found within our borders" I always pray that we achieve and maintain peace and liberty and find ways and means to fight hunger and poverty in the country. Growing up in the United States, I've always felt a need to do something meaningful in our country ‘Kenya” and I think I have just found the way do that. Thank you to Face of Kenya USA.
My Charity is known as “Angels Forgotten”. based in Elburgon Kenya.
