Jambo! My name is Rose Njeri. I was born and raised in the beautiful country Kenya. I came to America when I was 13 years old because my amazing superwoman mother wanted me to have better opportunities. I am 26 years old doing my masters degree in Family Therapist. I’m also a certified personal trainer who loves to change people’s lives and also work with the children who need social skills. I’m proud to be Kenyan because we have the most beautiful cultures and heritage. I can truly say the person I have become is because of how I was raised in Kenya and the traditions I still practice. I love when people approach me and ask me where I’m from because at that moment I get the opportunity to tell them about our lovely Kenya. I am thankful for this opportunity to be able to give back and build our country. I highly appreciate this organization for encouraging young people to set better example for our young generation.
