7I am Gladys, a great smiley woman and a blessed mother of 2 living gifts, a boy and a girl. Passionate about this great creation, I have grown to become a variety kind of woman. Am a proud Kenyan Coleopterists award Winner 2003 (senior), which is the Study of Common Coleoptera found in Murang'a District, Kenya. I partnered with the Zoology Dept in Kenyatta University and the Entomology Dept in the National Museums of Kenya for field work and research. I later came to France, studied the french language and culture as an Au Pair in a french host family. My passion for serving people, drove me to do a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Tourism Management in Paris. I am a retired hotel receptionnist and a restaurant waitress. My desire to find my life's purpose made me to choose entrepreneurship, whereby am able to work on my different passions at the same time from different business industries. Another reason i chose entrepreneurship was to be able to work from home and bring up my kids. The reason why am excited to be part of Face of Kenya in France, its because it has always been my dream to Give Back to my motherland in all good ways....and i have been looking for a way to get started but the distance and family life, has limited me abit. But this is finally the way and great gratitudes and honour to Janet for this great vision. I believe F.O.K France was made for such a time as this. My Charity of choice will be dedicated to babies abandoned and orphans. My charity of choice is happylife childrens home.
