My name is Jackline Wambui Kahugu, I’m 25yrs young, and I was born and raised in the beautiful country Kenya but I currently reside in Overland Park, KS. I relocated to the United States in 2008 to further my studies and although I haven’t been back home ever since, I embody and represent my country very highly. I attended Park University in Parkville, MO where I attained my Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics and recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Finance. While in College, I was the Vice President of Milele Kenya club which was not only open to Kenyans but all students and was meant to advance international friendship and understanding and promote the concepts of a global community.
When I am not busy advancing myself in this wonderful career path I have chosen, I love volunteering and outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, running, camping etc. I also have a passion for fashion and I’m so blessed as I own a clothing boutique, The Clothing Heaven with my best friend which is located in Kenya. I plan to relocate back to my homeland Kenya and apply my acquired skills and knowledge in making my Kenya a better place.
I’m deeply humbled and honored to be part of this great opportunity to help represent my beautiful country and also help raise awareness and fundraise for a great cause. As a contestant, I will be raising awareness and help fundraise for KENYAN CHILDREN'S FUND charity which responds to the emotional, social and spiritual needs of orphans in Kenya who have been left behind by their parents because of HIV/AIDS. KENYAN CHILDREN'S FUND assists these kids by providing a safe haven, education, clothing, health and clean water resources. They transform the orphans to be good, Godly, responsible, trustworthy, and inspire them to be great leaders in the future. Please join me in making the dreams of these kids come true.
