I believe that all children boys and girls alike deserve good education for a chance of a better future. However it is quite unfortunate that some communities still have gender bias and choose to educate the boy child only.I have always felt strongly about education and being a woman trying to make it in a man eat man society i have had to learn the hard way how important education is.The face of Kenya USA has given me an opportunity to voice what i stand for and maybe change some young girl's life out there. This is why iam a part of the MOHAMI foundation(mother of hope and mercy foundation).I finally get a chance to help raise funds to educate a girl out there. So i am kindly asking to help me help these girls build a better future.Whatever amount you are able to give will be greatly appreciated.I will also be giving you updates on the girls whose hearts you have touched so you know how they are progressing.Go to the link below to make your donations.Remember every little bit helps

I am 25 years old, born and raise in Kenya, recently moved to the states.I attended Moi university during which i had the honor of serving as miss moi 2011/2012.As miss moi i help the university raise food and clothes for a local children s' home. My passion is singing and i have performed in several bands as their lead singer. For employment i modeled and was the karaoke host at Kisumu's most prominent dance club.I plan to continue perusing my music here and the states.i am honored to be a part of the face of Kenya USA edition. and hope to empower someone 's life out there while at it.Take this journey with me as we have fun and make the society better at the same time
