Welland Mugani

Rugby athlete at Allgäu Rugby ,Germany
Charity of choice : Talanta youth Football Club Kenya.
Talanta youth football club Kenya (TYFCK) is a non profitable org. that provides better ways of supporting the community through different activities say sports and Education. Main purpose of the organisation is to empower the young people of the society.(youth empowerment)
Last year september 2017 ,I came to Germany Through WORKAWAY with Talanta youth football club kenya, who gave me an opportunity to host me in Germany and do my voluntary social year (Freiwillinges soziales jahr).
Currently am playing Rugby for the Allgäu Rugby Team in Kempten,Germany and continuing with my studies at berufschule immenstadt where am pursuing a hotel management course.
What i like about Kenya is that it has made me who i am today. I have learnt it is good to appreciate the little you have and share it with others so that they can benefit too. This is the life we led living in "Plot 10" in the tough neighbourhood of KONGOWEA and still emerging out with the little knowledge and life skills.
And to the young men out there needing inspiration, Face of Kenya is a good platform of community cohesion where it emphasise the need to tackle inequalities, everyone values and talents are highly appreciated. We should all come out as Kenyans and be proud of ourselves and country
